Its that time of the year again when the Glenavon Hotel Cookstown holds its annual beauty contest. Miss Glenavon has been running for many years now with the standard getting higher each year.

This years final is on Saturday 10th May with heats on Sat 26th April and 3rd May. The lucky winner will receive £500 cash and along with the runner-up will go forward to The Miss Northern Ireland final in June.

As always Pamela Ballentine will host the event and with past judges like AP Mc Coy, Alan Mc Inally, Malachi Cush, Owen Mulligan, Mick Fitzgerald who knows who will 'turn up on the night'! Entry forms can be obtained at hotel reception or ACA promotion Belfast.
